Aquaculture
Couldn't resist stopping on my way to work to blip this view across Dunmanus Bay to Sheeps Head peninsula. The clouds and bright morning sun were giving rise to some very intense light and the grey mussel barrels in the bay were really highlighted! All the bays have quite a lot of aquaculture, which is rather controversial, a conflict of interests I believe. The green plant in the foreground is Montbretia, it has bright orange flowers in the summer and along with Fushia is a common sight in the hedgerows around these parts.
Busy day reconnecting with work after a few days off and did a good bit of bagging up of our cards, delighted with our new spring ones!
Off to yoga this evening, I will be feeling very virtuous as I spent a bit of time in my lunch break at the 'fatty park' nicknamed thus by Rachel and her friends, its a collection of exercise machines, installed by the local council in recent months, all good fun!
