Steamie

Just spent a very enjoyable hour in conversation with Tony Roper, author of The Steamie, which is about to tour in its 25th year (Scotland's most popular play of the modern era by a distance).

Earlier this week I'd been in the magnificent, huge converted steamie in Edinburgh that's now home to Edinburgh Printmakers. These two pictures of the original Edinburgh steamie (not the play) were pinned on the wall.

So this is a photo of a computer screen of a phone-photo of a photocopy of an original photo - and you wonder why the quality is poor?
