Rig #1

My visit to Yulin was to visit a couple of rigs, look at some bits, and understand what has been happening. I knew it would be cold, but I didn't know how bitter, and frigid, the cold would be. It was -20C, not overly windy, but it meant that I couldn't take any of my layers off (top pair of gloves in particular) to take photos. It was the most miserable I think that I've ever been on a rig (with the exception of every first sleep before I was meant to go on shift).

I'm going to try and visit in Summer now!
