Happy birthday to me. 35 today.

A wonderful morning - a waste-of-time meeting at head office, and on return to the power station, a fire alarm - and therefore an hour and a quarter of standing outside in the freezing cold.

I was so looking forward to getting home to see wee C and wee D who had been staying at their Granny's for the past couple of days. But wee D decided to throw an almighty strop and made the first part of the evening less enjoyable than it might have been. They had made me a birthday cake though, with Granny's help, so that was nice.

Hubby and I escaped the chaos for a little while and went out to the theatre - the King's Theatre in Glasgow, to see a play called "All New People" written by and starring Zach Braff (of Scrubs fame). It was BRILLIANT! I really really enjoyed it. You should all go see it.

And straight back home to a cup of tea and then to bed. Rock 'n' roll.
