Deeside Brae

I first caught a glimpse of 'Deeside Brae' today from the open top deck of the car park outside the ASDA store at Garthdee on the south side of Aberdeen: a huge gash was evidently being carved out of the hillside to the south of the River Dee.

Closer examination revealed that these dramatic earthworks were being undertaken as part of a housing development - Deeside Brae - by the property company Dandara.
