A riesenmeisenknödel?

I visited my old friend John W. at his house today to hear how his latest photography project was evolving. We had a good chat in his workshop and I've arranged to visit him again on Thursday, so that John can give me a demonstration. It may be an interesting blip opportunity.

I had to rush home at lunchtime to drive Helena to her Tuesday afternoon teaching job up the valley, near Brimscombe. Just before we set off, we noticed a delivery van departing, having deposited a parcel in our coal bunker, without knocking on our door. There were delivery instructions to do this, but only if we weren't at home! We didn't open the package until she returned home at teatime, but we did have a big laugh at the labelling on the box, which as you can see here was:

'Riesenmeisenknödel
Super Fat Ball
Boule de graisse géante'

It would appear to refer to a big grease ball, what or whomever that might be. In fact it contained our replacement squirrel-proof bird feeder, called a Squirrel Buster, which hopefully will be more effective than the last one we had. That was knocked to the ground from a tree and apparently carted off, never to be seen again. We assume it was taken by a fox or a badger, both of which regularly visit our garden, as it would have been full of sunflower seeds at the time.

In the box there was also a large hessian sack, which was used as packaging to protect the Buster. Helena was very pleased as she could immediately see a new use for it.

ps
I've noticed strange perspectives in this picture and I'm not sure why it is happening.
