Through the trees..

This view looks west towards the rifle ranges at Berwick Hills.

I wanted to capture my mood today, which I'm afraid to say is not tip top. The sky is like my heady, cloudy !

Firstly we had a new software program installed at work which was meant to help us in the way we work, it turns out that we don't have all of the features required, we (the company) haven't bought into it all, we have the base model instead of the deluxe. Simple tasks are now taking three times as long and as a result I saw a lot of extremely stressed out people today at work, it's normally pretty hectic anyway but it was no less than chaotic today.

Also I have discovered that I cannot sit for long periods of time and I have had to cut the length of my shifts for a couple of weeks whilst my body adjusts to the rigours of what I do for a living, this is frustrating but it seems like I was a bit presumptious thinking I could return to full time hours straight away.

I am now looking forward to an evening in with Alice, we're having a nice meal and lots of alcohol.
