Ramsay Gardens
I moved away from the shore line today, and went to the High Street. It is very difficult to get pictures in the town that don't have tram works, roadworks, scaffolding or traffic cones just now. The city is not looking it's best and I feel sorry for the tourists that are here.
However it was relatively clear at Ramsay Gardens. These are a block of 16 appartments originally built in 1733 as Ramsay Lodge for the poet Allan Ramsay. They were modified to the present form in 1890. They are right next to the castle so must be subject to quite a lot of noise when the tattoo is on or during the fireworks.
