Playing with light - But is it Art?

Today I am not going to get out. This morning I set up a wee studio and was playing with light; an LED light which shines pure white light only. I set up a sheet of white paper, place two similar objects upon it and played my LED light over the items.

Then I played some more with various programs in photoshop until I ended up with this extraordinary image. 'But is it art?' Well I think of it as art but not a photograph.

I assume you all know what the two objects are. I could have had a blank day or I could upload this. I decided to upload this because it is the only use of my camera that I have done.

Now I must get back to some real work, so Cheerio.
