Day three in Chennai - what a delightful place. Can't quite work out why the large Italian tour group in the hotel are staying here?! A long day training, a short ride back to the hotel in chaotic traffic, and a welcome hour by the pool to catch some rays as the sun went down.

All this followed by a surreal Valentines Day meal in the hotel restaurant with a (male) work colleague, complete with red roses, heart shaped puddings and a session singer wailing Living On A Prayer... We swapped the complimentary sparkling wine for a pint of Kingfisher. Who says romance is dead?
