The Sands of the Sahara

From Medelt we spent a long day travelling East ward to reach our next point which was riding camels into the sunset at a point on the fringe of the Sahara. I think this was definitely the highlight of the trip for me. I had brewed a delicious cough by here but it still didn't detract from the stunning scenery and the experience. We all found our own little dune to watch the sunset after arriving at the camp. Ali (camel guy) and Khalib cooked us a delicious chicken Targine and then for the party goers there was games and drums around the camp fire.
