After a day of walking throughout Susukino, visiting the Sapporo Beer Museum and seeing a spectacular nightview of Sapporo by the ropeway we ventured into several unknown bars. I had Sapporo Classic beer on my mind, the BEST beer in Japan which can only be bought in Hokkaido. We went to a bar called Soul Cop, a 26 year establishment about 10 minutes walk from Susukino station that had a MASSIVE collection of soul, funk and afro beat records. The barman was the DJ and it was funky soulful beats all night. I've never enjoyed the genre as much as I did that night. The sitting charge was 1000 yen so be prepared. Good times.
