Face Of An Angel

A fantastic first day of my holiday week! I took 172 photos and managed 17 keepers - that's 9.88% - which is pretty good, for me. Jim and I went for a very long walk around town, up as far as Botanic Gardens and then back into Cornmarket where I took my Blip shot of these three tourists. The girl's expression really made the picture for me and reminded me a little of one of my favourite shots on Flickr - click HERE.
Just this morning I read a quote from Henri Cartier Bresson: "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." - it seemed to fit well with some of my shots from this afternoon! I have put them in a separate Flickr set and I intend to add to it in the coming weeks.

We're off on a trip to the north coast tomorrow morning. You may see some Atlantic waves or perhaps just the inside of a cafe - depending on the weather.
