Inspired by CRM

Round the back of my place of work is where Charles Rennie Mackintosh was born, on Parsons Street, where he later designed Martyrs Street School.

This sculpture is part of some urban artwork produced by a Gorbals-based community arts group, with input from the Townhead residents, and tips its cap to Mr Mack.

It's lovely to look up at and through to the sky (especially when it's mild and dry like today), although I'm not sure many folk do.
