Cellar Rescue

Our drain issues are still ongoing. This has gone on for months and we are still receiving bath water down there. The drainage people have done some investigation and so work but we are still having problems.

There has been some debate about a low down crack in the pipe and whether this is an issue. I simply want them to look again with a camera as nothing has been checked since recent work has been completed, but they do not want to do this. There has also been some debate about costs so I should not really have been surprised when they said that instead of investigating further they were now going to do a full excavation on insurance.

To be honest I dont care anymore I just want it done. As you can see the Little Cellar People have had enough too. For once the water level was quite low tonight and it did not gush in as expected so the shots were not as exciting as I was hoping and you can not see the water as well as I was expecting either. You can see the hole in the wall where it comes in, in the background though.

Another blipper gave me the inspiration for this blip so thank you, even if I did have to get a little too close to the neighbours bath water to get it.

In more family based news Boy has come down with a bug. He had to come home from nursery early after being sick. On the way back from picking up Girl with him a bit later Wife ended up popping in a friends to say happy birthday. Boy offerred up his own gift by throwing up on their lounge rug. We are lucky that they are such nice people and understanding parents as the birthday boy even cleaned up the mess. What a birthday treat!

Boy has since been sick a few more times this evening and has needed to be removed from his slumber and hosed down once already, I get the feeling it may be a long night.
