Lizzie Who...?

"Lizzie Anthus" I am hastily corrected by the mother in law, who is down for a few days for Megans first birthday, which is tomorrow.

"Who is Lizzie Anthus", I ask, in sheer curiosity.

"Oh, its Lisianthus."

I'm no expert on flowers, I must admit. One of my old shipmates on my last ship before I left used to refer to them as coloured weeds. Then again, he's the same person who liked a drink or five. He was banned from drinking before 12pm on a weekend, but then encouraged his wife to do the shopping earlier so he could squeeze in an extra can or two.

Well, I kind of like these, and they do brighten up the house. Just need to find some way of holding the flower so I can concentrate on the focus more... I know, I've just had an idea.
