Operation Red Eye

It appears that the birds around my patch need a decent pair of glasses. I've had food hung up by my window for a year and they still haven't found it!

In a vain attempt to attract at least a magpie I've painted the bird feeder beacon red and perched it rather precariously on my windowsill.

If this doesn't work I'll offer them some contact lenses!
