Desert Camping

Today after our American Womans Association (AWA) meeting, I decided to go for a little drive through the sandpit!!
During the Winter months November to February, Bahraini's have this thing that they have to go camping in the desert. So they go and stake out their little spot in our "desert" and this becomes their retreat during the holidays and weekends. So they leave their homes and enjoy the outdoors. Usually cold and windy!! Sandy too. They dont leave their homely comforts though. You will find outdoor showers and basins and loos. They even have their lounge furniture and of course cannot go anywhere without their satelite dishes either.
