I hear there are some cool photography talks every week in Stills, who do you have as your guest speaker tonight?

Well Mike, tonight we have Susie Lowe, she is a Photography lecturer at Edinburgh Stevenson College with a wide range of experience ranging from editorial to advertising photography. Her talk will explore documentary photography, in particular images of war and suffering.

And what can we be expecting to get out of this talk?

I think it will question the value of documentary photography, the ways in which we consume and produce images of conflict and violence, and the appropriate context for them to be viewed.
