This Old Knarled Tree

Out for a walk round Ord Hill this afternoon and came across this old beech tree.
Branches missing,all forlorn, it was just waiting for its photo to be taken.
Judging by the size of it I thought it must have a lot of history to tell.
I know people are said to talk to the tree`s, but wouldn`t it be great if they could talk to us. This old fella would have a lot to say I`m sure.
