The Missus Again
I took a short walk out into my driveway to take a few snow shots. My garden girl holding "snow roses." 4 big Florida conch shells filled with snow. A HI FROM MICH that I wrote into the snow that blew out of my snowblower onto the side of my house. That last trick forced me inside with a frozen finger, and cold feet.
I put a few peanuts out, and waited impatiently in the kitchen. The usual suspects showed up. Chickadees, blue jays, cardinals, and now...batting clean-up...Barney the Squirrel. Barney looked liked he had been in a little tussle. Blood and a rough spot over his left eye. He gave me a look like he wanted my wife Lisa...a nurse...to take a look at it. She refused.
I had at least one fair picture of all 4 creatures. I liked the missus because of her open peanut-filled mouth, and the long shadow of her right claw.
I'm now watching the Pebble Beach golf tourney on the Monterey Peninsula. What a beautiful place! Plus...I'm working on some new CD's for the long ride south.
Have a great SONday!
