Surprised

We were expecting our friend P to arrive from Toronto today... She did and we were showing her around the apartment when the doorbell rang again. I was shocked to open it to J! He changed his flight so that he could come a couple days earlier with P and didn't tell us. It took a while for it to sink in. Ch looked in shock for most of her lunch and kept poking J to make sure it was really him. We are thrilled!

We like to tire our guests out after their transatlantic flights and we kept up that tradition today. We had lunch in our favourite café, took Th to the metro so she could go meet her class to see a play, walked through the Luxembourg gardens, visited the Delacroix museum, crossed the Pont des Arts, walked through the Louvre and came home on our favourite #72 bus.
