bear left...

Bit of an energetic day today, but very sociable. Hubs and I went for a bike ride (still post inspiration after chatting to B), we timed our ride to perfection with glorious sunshine most of the way, but cool enough not be doing the layers on/off/on etc. biggest problem was that I'd left my camera memory card in the laptop....doh! However it didn't matter too much as Claire and Shelia were coming for lunch and we had a planned walk after lunch.
We made a small dent in the vat of veg & lentil soup I'd made yesterday and we all made a small dent in the CO2 levels during our walk later! We walked up Mount Gabriel into thick cloud, but had had sunshine most of the way up.

This sheep had managed to get herself on the wrong side of the fence, so trotted ahead of us on the way up. It is not possible to catch a sheep with out a shepherd or a dog...or a bag of sheep nuts, so we didn't bother. I'm getting the hang of this rural living!!
Back to ours for hot choc and chai and later a Sunday Roast.
