Homeward bound

Outing with the family to Summerlee Heritage museum at Coatbridge. Some of us gate-crashed a regular getogether of friends with the result that there were 10 adults, 9 children, 3 buggies and 6 cars. We all had a trip on a vintage tram, visited a sweetie shop and some miners' cottages. Some us, suitably hard-hatted, went into a drift mine while others beetled back to the warmth of the cafe. Some of us even looked round the museum. A happy afternoon of renewing friendships, conversation and children who were enjoying each other's company. Here we are drifting back to the carpark. Behind us were the staff ready to lock the gates. Yes we were the last out!
