Aaaaarrr me hearties!

Like a lot of kids in shops, Felix is always drawn to the comic section, in particular the ones with free (free?! they cost about 4 quid!) gifts.

I refuse to buy them anymore because they break instantly but he's allowed to get them with his own money - I was hoping it might teach him not to waste his cash, but no. Many comics later and he still hasn't grasped that they're all a load of crap - there's an eternal optimism that next time there will be a real telescope.

I believe that is also one definition of insanity - doing the same thing over and over again and hoping for a different result each time. Not that I'm calling my son insane, I'm merely wondering over the complete lack of cynicism (lucky) children possess. Cute.
