Budding Barrel Cactus

After 4 years, I am finally off, off, off, off steroids. My joints hate me for this decision, so much so, that if I don't keep them moving, they protest vehemently. I have been attending an aqua class M,W,F for 2 weeks and that has helped tremendously. But I now realize that on those off days, I need to move my joints around more or I won't be able to stand up after several hours in the office chair.

Today, I found time to go to the Desert Botanical Garden after dropping Bob off at school. Many cacti are in bloom now. They have such a beautiful collection, which makes choosing a photo quite difficult. This was a great trip for both mind and body.
