This is Waterstones which is in the middle of the old wool exchange which is a stunning old building. You can see some of it on the right. Inside the building is very sympathetic to it's history but this huge glass frontage and gratuitous advertising sponsorship is a bizarre contrast to how it actually feels inside


We had a little browse and I picked up a book for the SSVD ( Secret Santa Valentine's Day ) that I and a few friends are doing. Had coffee upstairs, all very calm until Erin droppped her packet of biscuits over the top of the balcony onto the ground floor. Luckily no one was hurt because frankly I would not have wanted to be the one explaining concussion via a confectionery item to the paramedics.
