Chatting
G has been off this week, just using holiday up before the end of his holiday year this month. We went off to visit Grannie (Leeds) as she always signs herself off. J chatted none stop to her and this shot is an indepth conversation about the lego they were building and where to put the tree. Spent most of the day stopping them squabbling over the same toy - a pattern that will be the story of my life for the next 15 years or so I reckon - oh the joy!
The weather was miserable so we didn't get to Harwood House or even Temple Newsham, which we rarely make a trip to Leeds without. But had a lovely day inside. Left early because more snow was threatened, but didn't materialise and got home safe and sound. J listened to Pooh bear stories all the way home so didn't sleep - good on the one hand as he was really interested despite not having seen the books them selves but it did mean he kept up a stream of chatter, which he demands that you listen to and respond to, which is a bit wearing after two hours when you are trying to concentrate on the driving.
