Sofa....so good!

Up, showered, dressed and out the house by 9am. On a Saturday! Amazing the power the delivery of new sofas has on the motivation to get out of bed early on a weekend! :-))

Was panicking like mad slightly concerned about the delivery as had convinced myself they wouldn't match each other who's mad idea was it to order two different styles of sofa in two different fabrics for the one room??!! or the room. But I needn't have worried. They do and they do! :-))

Delivered bang on time by two 12 year olds or am I getting old? Rhetorical question!!! unpacked and put into position then I was left gloriously alone with them for 2 whole hours before D & A arrived with haircuts! Yay, no more mop-a-tops! Actually that only applies to Alan :-)

Oh what bliss and consternation.....which sofa to try out first...and which end? Felt like Goldilocks trying out the Bear's beds! Thankfully no matter where I sat it felt just right :-))

Afternoon spent cooking on the AGA (yes I KNOW! I've turned into a middle class cliche! *rolls eyes* produced a chicken curry and a veggie curry (and mince for the freezer). Agnes, Adrian and Emily arrived and we stuffed ourselves with crisps and dip, curry and quality street.

Agnes and I decided that it was only right to open wine to celebrate the sofas so after checking with the hubbies that they were happy to drive back, bit late if they weren't as we'd had a huge glass of wine each by that point ;-) we toasted the arrival of the new sofas again, again and again until they must have felt very welcome indeed in their new home!

Had to back blip as I was rather merry we didn't get back till late and there's no wifi in the new house yet so couldn't blip from there.

I have blipped the large in-your- face feature sofa. For those blip pals who are interested you know who you are ;-) the other style can be seen HERE and all three HERE. One day we might be able to afford the rest of the furniture for the room. *sigh*

Lurgy update...still lingering but voice almost back!
