Vietnamese Birthday Surprise

We arrived in Phu Couc earlier. Beautiful day here sunny and 31 degrees! As usual we had to hand our passports to reception to be registered with the local authority during our stay. That done, off we went to our room changed and went down to the beach (which is stunning). A couple of hours later we made our way back to the room and this lovely birthday cake was there for me as a surprise. The receptionist who took my passport must have arranged it once she realised that it is my birthday today. A really nice gesture and the cake is a delicious light coconut sponge with passion fruit filling - yum yum! Don't think it'll last very long!!!
