Wonderful day today....walked over to the spa this morning (only a 5 minute walk from where we were staying). K and I spent 3 magical hours being scrubbed, wrapped, massaged, facial(ed)?.....felt like a million bucks afterwards - except for my poor face that felt squeezed beyond belief.

Needless to say we were famished after that, so we headed into town and had a small bite at Sushi Tora. We were trying to save our appetite for happy hour at Salt.

We walked around for a bit and saw this guy just singing at the top of lungs. He was really good - powerful and haunting voice. I would have hung around longer to listen to him, but it was pretty chilly out. Then we headed over to Salt for happy hour. They have a really cool cocktail menu where you pick a liquor base, then your flavor combination, and then the style that you want the drink served. K and I took advantage of their happy hour menu and gorged on pickled veggies, marcona almonds, quinoa fritter, fried greek olives, soup sip (tomato garbanzo bean), artisinal salami and duck confit. We finished off the madness with a dark chocolate caramel salt tart and an espresso.

Happy and stuffed, we went back to the hotel and napped for a bit, then took our time and headed out again for a late night dinner at Brasserie Ten Ten. I think it was the best atmosphere out of all the restaurants we went to. We were still not 100% famished, so we just enjoyed a drink and their Hideaway salad. And some delightful fourme d'Ambert, of course. Delicieux!
