Bamboo Plant
Today in Sumi-e (Japanese painting) class we painted on fabric.
Painting bamboo is the only lesson I was taught so far.
Needless to say, I bumbled through the class trying to get my bamboo painting to look like it should on my "scarf" panel.
After class I experienced my first blipmeet with As She Sees It.
She was on a mini holiday with her sister. When I met up with them at the San Diego Zoo I noticed there were bamboo plants. I blipped this view to analyze how my painting compares to real growing bamboo.
I will finish the scarf edges, blip and post for others to compare as well.
