We didn't have any plans today except get our tax stuff together, and it ended up being a really fun family day.

I had some time this morning to get the final things ready for Miles' birthday next weekend, we went to the zoo since the weather was so beautiful, and had a lot of play time as a family.

While playing downstairs today, Mitch climbed up on the ottoman to reach for something. When Miles caught site of this, he charged over & literally pushed Mitch out of the way and tried to climb up himself.

Then, after we heard the tragic news of Whitney Houston's death, I put on the classic "I want to dance with somebody" and Miles and I had a dance party in honor of the legendary singer.
