Flower Power

Just as I was getting on with another job application the doorbell went. My Mum had sent us some lovely flowers as a moving in present! They really made me smile.

We discovered a swimming pool and a big ice rink (complete with junior ice hockey match in full swing) at the end of our road! We have tickets to see the Vancouver Canucks on Monday night at the huge stadium, best get up on my hockey lingo!
