Which Edinburgh tram?

We enjoyed a fabulous meal at our friends' house this evening. From my seat at the table I had a great view of this wall hanging. The photo shows just a fraction of a whole roll of heavy material that lists (old) Edinburgh tram terminuses (or termini). It's not a list of successive stops: such"routes" wouldn't make sense and, if you check, you'll see that the stops are listed in alphabetical order. I assume that the driver would wheel a mechanism round to the right terminating stop at the start of each journey across the city.

I bet the new trams - whenever (if) we ever get them, won't have these.
