February Challenge - Celebrate

Mark's best man Simon made us this mug to celebrate our wedding last year. We got married in a very small ceremony on March 7th in New York (when the photo on the mug was taken) and then had a reception party in London on April 30th... a date we chose just a couple of weeks before the announcement came that Kate & Wills would be married on the 29th (it was actually very inconvenient for me!). So as a nod to the royal wedding, Simon made this mug to present to us at our reception party. It might look like he had the mug printed, but actually he just printed the picture on paper and glued it on... and not even on a union jack mug - the union jack is glued on too! So the mug, although wonderful, is not usable and sits on the kitchen counter, holding pens and "stuff" (keys, business cards, a golf ball etc). It is a constant reminder of our celebrations, and I love it all the more because it is hand made!
