It's lovely out here ...

We are inside the house, warming ourselves with the fire.

Molly is outside, gazing dreamily into space. It's cold out there. Normally, we would expect her to jump into the back of the car (the boot is left open for her), or to come scratching at the kitchen-door, asking to be let in.

But no - she just sits there under the glare of the security light. Even when I go to take this photo, she does not make any move to come in from the cold.
