I'd planned a lazy day today, I didn't get out of my PJ's all day yesterday & I had the same in mind for the rest of my weekend. Then I remembered I had a parcel to take to the Post Office. As I was dressed, I went for a quick wander in Castle Hill Park.
I could hear plenty of birds chirping, but they weren't keen to sit out in the open in the cold for too long. This goldfinch sat without any other annoying branches in front of him, he sat still enough for me to focus and as soon as I pressed the shutter, he turned round. But this is still the best shot I've ever taken of a goldfinch, so I'm keeping it.
