sparsity
With the constriction of Shandwick Place's pavements (somehow making them even more of a pain in the arse to attempt to navigate even when there are no queues of impertinent omnibus-waiters blocking sections of them) I'd've though there'd be more people than usual sneaking along the likes of William Street and Queensferry Street Lane, but there was a strange emptiness and cleaniness around them this afternoon. Another intended lunchtime cycle was cancelled in order to pop to a nearby shop for a thing and to another nearishby coffee-selling shop for an extra coffee. There was none left from yesterday to use this morning so I used up a little of this morning's flask-intended concentrate to make a cup to sip whilst watching the wingpiglet feed, which made the contents of the flask a little weak and too-quickly-finished.
