work and play

I spent my afternoon and early evening making my pinafore, it took just shy of 7 hours from bag from the shop to hung on the door! I am shattered, but it is fab, it needs the bottom hem doing but I need to wear it and stand on a stool while someone (hubby is a star) marks the hem point to be level all the way round! I always end up with an uneven hem, even when I buy clothes, so a level hem is the best! Mind you not tonight, I doubt either of us can hold our tempers long enough to do the task!
