Water off a ducks back

Had all the intentions today, to carry on with my scanning project. I haven't even taken my new scanner out of the box - I think I will do so though straight after this post (perhaps after dinner).

Spent most of the afternoon down by the river, after being dragged down there by my son, he wanted to take some photos before going back to uni tomorrow (via the station to collect his ticket!). It was lovely when the sun was shining. I think it must have been duck feeding day! This duck obviously knows he is handsome, standing there proudly. He was standing by and protecting his lady friend, eyeing all the others up!!

Hope tomorrow is a bit warmer - we have the last and best race of the cyclo-cross season - the team champs. I think its going to be really muddy...

PS I think that I have now persuaded him to join blip. :-)
