Lace doily footpath

It was a sunny walk into town today and the sun through the iron railings looked like a lace doily along the edge of the path.
I keep thinking that this is the weekend I would have spent with Patrick working things out, but I'm surprisingly ok with it (so far!), maybe because it's been a nice weekend so far - after walking in the sun I tried the dress on that I'd seen for my birthday and it was perfect so that's sorted, and I managed to haggle a discount on my phone upgrade - I was so proud. And I picked up photos from Jessops - the first roll in my holga black corner camera - and apparently it had stopped winding on properly so I have only one photo from my last weekend with Patrick in the peak district which I think must be fate. Some very cute photos taken by Benjamin back in the summer - he does like a close-up!
