Dusting of Snow

This morning, we awoke to some light snow. It's been too warm recently for it to stick to the roads, but our elevated deck got some accumulation. What I found interesting, though, is that the metal heads of the nails in the deck were warm enough to melt the snow, but the wood was not.

Now, a few hours later, all the snow is melted already. Glad I shot this photo early!
