Ok I admit it. I like photographing flowers. Preferably as close as possible.

The poor old carnation, rarely anyone's favourite flower. I knew someone who always sniffily referred to them as 'garage flowers' because they always pad out those sparse bouquets bought as a last resort/thought at petrol stations.

Honestly, just look at this. And then tell me they aren't beautiful.
