Unchanged

Despite all the other changes - the escalators, the repaired and coated steps, the wood cladding, the decoration and the glass roof - the original sign for Waverley Steps has survived and remains the same, in the same untouched stonework.

Apart from the surrounding metal frame it looks just like it did a year ago today when the steps closed for the refurbishment.
