Roganos

Up at 5.30 to get train to Glasgow for meeting at Scottish Goverment. Huge building which reminded the NE contingent of the set for " In the thick of it " but unfortunately no sign of Malcom Tucker just the usual cast of NHS follk.
Mrs St Swithin came down as well to meet up with Kirsty. She took me to Roganos and old haunt of hers; managed a cocktail and a plate of oysters before decamping to Revolution to see Kirsty who was serving food and making cocktails. On the way back to Queen Street came across a real like hostage situation - every emergency vehicle in Glasgow with the exception of the AA.
An unusual end to the week.
