Being Pensive (also Happy Birthday P!)

Yes, it's P's birthday and we went to the zoo!! The children that we are. I did adopt a giraffe for P for his Christmas, so we had to go and see HIS giraffes. Despite the cold (all the pond/river was frozen) we had a lovely day, saw most of the animals and had a picnic lunch watching the jaguar and panther prowl around.

My very favourite was this very thoughtful mummy orangutang. I do love the orangutangs, possibly an affinity with the gingerness, or maybe more because they're so human like. She's definately thoughtful here, maybe a little bored too!

When we got home, we ate the cake from yesterday, and then went to the pub. A good day!
