Wildlife

A beautiful morning over here....cold, sunny and snowy.....great for walking in and spotting wildlife. Saw this little creature appear from the woods but as soon as I got near, it ran off into the snow. It kept rolling over and waggling its legs in the air as if it were being submissive or was it a courtship display? Whatever it was it appeared to love the snow......Has anyone any idea what it is?
