Boy's toys - another world

After sorting out a model car for Arthur last Christmas I now find myself occasionally slipping into the lost world of Tamiya via the internet. A world that I somehow sidestepped in my youth due to an overriding obsession with model gliders and, later, girls and mopeds.
Now, thanks to Youtube, I'm getting all nostalgic for a Sand Scorcher: something I'd never even heard off before 2008... but one that I somehow feel that I should have.
Will I ever grow up?
Take that as a rhetorical question.
