Green shoots of recovery

A very dull day here, and I mean both the weather and the content of the day. Most of my day was spent chasing our lost luggage on the phone and scrubbing something horrible out of the grout in our flooded hallway.

But then while scraping gross stuff off the front yard slabs, I found this little plant in a pot on the shelf behind the barbecue. I have no recollection of planting it and don't know what it is, but it brightened the day a little. Six cups of tea and a bar of chocolate for a morning snack brightened it more, but the chocolate didn't hang around long enough to be blipped, so you get the flower.
